Having embarked upon a journey to reduce the width of my Krampus wheels from 45mm to 32mm, this video rung some bells for a small portion of my brain cells. Calvin and Ben from Park Tool take a Surly Ice Cream Truck and build a set of sew-up road wheels for it. We’re always happy to see others dabble in the dark fat bike arts. It saves us a lot of time and limited resources. We always say that a fat bike can do everything that skinnier bikes can do, but skinnier bikes can’t run Bud & Lou mounted on 100mm wide rims. #gnomesane
