Wallpaper Wednesday – Long Island Mist

Justin from New York sent in this weeks Wallpaper Wednesday! He had this to say about the photo

This pic was taken by myself on what may be my favorite fat ride to date! This took place on the South Shore of Long Island on Sunday, Oct 21, 2012. The tide was low, slight onshore breeze and VERY dense fog. So foggy in fact I couldn’t see 5 feet in front of me at times. Being close to Halloween it was a great themed ride for the occasion….feeling like a take from Stephen King’s The Mist. Long Island has many great beaches for fat-biking on both North and Shore of the island. Still much to explore but hope you enjoy the pic and maybe come visit for some great fat biking on the beaches of L.I.

Feel free to download it and use it as your own wallpaper. Just click on the image to open the full-sized version which you can right-click to save.

  1. This was somewhere between Gilgo and Jones Beach Inlet……where exactly is anyone’s guess. Unfortunately I most likely won’t be able to return for a long while. Sandy has devastated the entire region:(
