Not a Wallpaper Wednesday Club – Poland

Norbert Jedrzejczyk

Welcome to the International House of Fat-Bikes! – aka I’ve lived my whole life surrounded by Polish Americans. Chicago and Milwaukee have a rich cultural history of really tricky to pronounce Polish family names. My two sons are Polish (from their mom’s side of the family) and literally tons of my amigos are Polish. Just last week the Bike Fed of Wisconsin held a Polish Moon block party and nite ride, here in MKE. Just about the same time, our Amigo, Norbert Jędrzejczyk sent us a few shots from Bydgoszcz, Poland. Norbert added a short note that said, “somewhere in the forest on my great Spec FatBoy:)”. He sent us four shots, but I think I like this shot the best. This scene could be from almost anywhere in Wisconsin, complete with a deer stand and pines in straight lines, but this is from the old country. Norbert’s Fatboy blends in pretty well with the undergrowth. One of the very best parts of my role here at fat-bike is being able to share these glimpses of fat-bike fun from around the world. Think about sending us a snapshot of your neck of the woods…or desert….or mountains….or island. Welcome to the club Norbert!
