Wallpaper Wednesday – Halton Agreement Forest

Paulo LaBerge sent us this week’s Wallpaper image all the way from Ontario, Canada! Here’s what he shared about his scenic capture.

Firstly, awesome website! I’ve enjoyed following your news feed, reviews and the pics submitted by your followers for quite a while now. I’ve sent along a photograph that I thought would be great for a Wallpaper Wednesday.

It’s a shot of my beloved Advocate Cycles Watchman Titan. It was taken while out on a brisk solo ride at my fave riding spot, the Agreement Forest in Milton Ontario Canada. As I was returning to my bike after a quick tinkle, I was compelled to take a shot of my bike among the monoculture pine stand. I love the backdrop of the dense pines and contrasting snow-dusted trail. I am one of the founding members of the Halton Agreement Forest Trail Association (HAFTA.ca) and have always enjoyed the scenery at ‘The Pines’.

Just learned something new…I grew up in that area and only knew about (or aboot) the trails on the south side of the 401 (“North America’s busiest highway”…I’m currently binge watching 401 Heavy Rescue). Got to try these ones next time I am in the area with my fattie.

Grips match the paint which matches the color on the tires, nice! Just enough color to pop in this composition!
