In case you haven’t heard, I boxed up Ten Beers and the podcast gear and flew up to Anchorage Alaska earlier this month and I visited our Fatbassador to Alaska and the Yukon Territories, Travis Hubbard and his wife Lorrie.
Travis’s Garage is somewhat legendary. It’s where Travis became a regular call-in guest on the Weekly dose of Fat and listened to Fat-Bike Radio’s variety of podcasts over the years. It’s also where he’s wrenched on his own bikes, along with a handful of test bikes that he reviewed for the site.
So Travis and I sat down at his workbench and recorded this hour-long episode in two parts. We talk about what we’ve been up to for the last little bit. We’ve been busy rack’n up our Fat-Bike Frequent Flyer Miles and living la vida gorda! We talk about the Talkeetna Trio, Campbell Tract, Whiskey Island, Knik Glacier, Alaska Bike Adventures and More.

As I work from home, sequestered in my basement bunker, running stairs all day taking care of my poor wife and trying to keep my 1st grader off of YouTube, sort of, I’m vicariously living #mtvspringbreak2020 through Tio Gomez and Fatbassador Travis regale us with their exploits. Hot damn you boys just made my day!
Sounds like a hell of a time, I hope Travis had a big enough shovel in the garage to pick up all them names you dropped 😉
