Wallpaper Wednesday – The Maheno Wreck – by Eckart Altenkamp

[adrotate banner=”38″]

This is our second installment of our Aussie Wallpaper Series by our amigo Eckart Altenkamp. Here’s what Ecki had to say about this week’s Wallpaper Wednesday feature.

Took a short break at the Maheno wreck on an early morning training ride along 75 Mile Beach on Fraser Island, Queensland Australia. The beach is also the main highway on the island. SS Maheno was an ocean liner that was washed ashore on Fraser Island by a cyclone in 1935 where the disintegrating wreck remains a popular tourist attraction.
