Product Spotlight – Framed Marquette 27.5+/29 – By Aristotle Peters

I am lucky enough to be a test rider for the Framed Marquette Carbon 27.5+/29.  Upon receiving this bike, I opened the box to find a neatly packed bike with two wheel sets.  There was a 27.5+ wheel set that got the playful biker in be excited and a 29” wheel set that makes the former-racer in me fired up.  This particular bike was outfitted with a spec very much to my liking, though I won’t get into that until the review.

Here is what Framed has to say on their website about the bike:

Born from a vigorous development process, the Marquette Carbon Boost is the end product of extensive trail testing combined with the evolution of our carbon frame technology. This new addition to the Framed Bikes family is built with high modulus carbon laid to create an incredibly durable frame without sacrificing the damping effects high grade carbon is known for, all while delivering a lightweight cross country masterpiece.  The Marquette Carbon features BOOST technology making this an ideal 27.5+ or 29er rig. The Marquette is completely internally routed with an optional front derailleur mount. The frame is set up with a rear brake post mount, threaded bottom bracket shell, and two water bottle cage mounts. This timeless design is sure to have you hammering trails with the component group of your choice to your heart’s content.

I didn’t have any say in what they were sending with the exception of the frame size (20”), but I was very happy reading the detailed spec list that I received via email with the tracking information.  Rather than include that long list of literally EVERY PART of the bike, I will go over the not-so-specifics.

My first impressions of the bike are good and I am excited to put the bike through the ringer to see how it holds up. Look for my review later this summer!

Cheers and happy trails!
